Excellent novel by the man who wrote 'True History of the Kelly Gang.' This book is set in SE Asia - mostly in Malaysia. It has loads of local colour and atmosphere, obviously penned by a man who knows KL and Malay street-life intimately.
I bought this book in Penang and read it there and on a subsequent trip through Sumatra. I took it with me recently on a trip to Uganda though since I thought it was an ideal candidate for a Kulchashok offering. I left it at the Backpackers Campsite, Ruwenzuri National Park - aka Mountains of the Moon. Hope it sees some interesting journeys from there!
