No Second Chance - Harlan Coben

A gritty thriller. Very readable and potentially a bit of a tear-jerker since it revolves around the kidnapping of our hero's baby daughter. Unlikely ever to be a classic but this is the sort of book you are often grateful to get your hands on on the road when suddenly caught without reading material.
I scrounged this book (by far the best of a bad bunch) off the shelf at Hoa’s Place, China Beach, Danang, Vietnam and dropped off at Madam Cuc’s Hotel 127, Ho Chi Minh City in January 2010.
